Description of Stabila 29048 48-Inch Type 80A-2 3-Vial Contractors Level

Ideal for framing, trim carpentry, and tile applications. 1 horizontal vial and 2 vertical vials. Unbreakable, acrylic vials won't break, leak, or fog for life. Yellow electrostatic epoxy coating for high visibility and resistance to mortar adherence and corrosion. Patented epoxy system, locks vials into the frame for no loss of accuracy and never readjusting.
The Stabila Contractor's Level has a rugged, easy-to-grip 48-inch contoured box beam frame and is ideal for framing, trim carpentry, and tile applications. This level uses a patented epoxy system to lock the vials into the frame and keep them permanently calibrated; the 3 included acrylic vials (1 horizontal and 2 vertical) with internal spring steel hairline indicators are guaranteed to never break, leak, or fog for life-long reading accuracy. This level is built with yellow electrostatic epoxy coating for high-visibility and resistance to mortar adherence and corrosion; it is easy to clean and entirely waterproof. This product has certified level accuracy of .029 degrees (1/32-inch over 72-inch) in top read position and is backed by a lifetime limited warranty.

What's to say? Stabila levels are perfect, beautifully crafted, and the standard. I've only been working construction for a short time, but you can tell a carpenter by his tools, and when working with industry professionals who've been building for over 40 years, you tend to notice and mimic their choice in tools.

If you show up on the job with a non-stabila, the first thing the boss does is check for its accuracy against the Stabila. If you pass the Stabila test, your substandard level is allowed, otherwise, you'd better get a Stabila.
